Our story in a (pearl) shell.

Three sisters, one grandfather, and a story that started way before us - in Kobe, Japan.

Decades ago, our grandfather left India to build a new life, and found his way into the world of pearls. What started as an opportunity slowly turned into a legacy - one built on quality, craft, and a deep understanding of these tiny, beautiful gems.

Growing up, pearls were just… around. We didn’t think much of it then. They were on the dining table, in conversations, at auctions, being sorted by hand. It was always part of our everyday, even if we didn’t realise how special it was.

As we got older, we started asking questions.
Why do pearls feel so “once-in-a-while”?

Why were we only selling as wholesalers?
Why are they saved only for weddings and big moments?
And why can’t they be worn like your favourite jewelry - every single day?

This world we had grown up in, this knowledge passed down through generations - it was ours to carry forward. And we hadn’t claimed it yet.

That’s how Kairi came to life.

Kairi is our way of bringing pearls into the present - modern, wearable, and accessible, without ever compromising on quality or craftsmanship. Guided by the same standards we grew up with, each piece is designed for today: effortless, intentional, and made to move with you.

Because pearls aren’t meant to be saved.
They’re meant to be worn.
On repeat.

Love,

Riya, Saachi, Rajvi
